Chorisia speciosa also famous as Floss Silk Tree, is a broad-sized, slow growing semi-evergreen conical tree,
consisting of 5-7 lance-shaped sometimes toothed leaflets, with thick, stalky pinate leaves, 10 cm to 12 cm long.
The upper parts of petals are reddish, violet or yellowish red, open, creamy or white flowers, which are 10 cm or
more long, and are produced in autumn from the leaf axils.The pear shaped, green, and brown fruit contains silky
flowed seeds. Height up to 15 meters, spaced 1.5 meters.Originally from Brazil, Argentina.
